Our Family History

At Cross Arrow Ranch, hunting is more than just a tradition—it's a way of life that has been passed down through generations of our family. Our story begins with our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, who were not only avid hunters but also stewards of the land.

Back then, hunting was both a sport and a necessity. They hunted to provide food for their families, turning each hunt into a valuable lesson. Their dedication to sustainable hunting practices, and their deep respect for the natural world have left a lasting impact on our family's approach to ranching and hunting today. Our grandfathers taught us that the land is a precious resource, deserving of care and respect. They instilled in us a profound understanding of the balance between man and nature. This philosophy continues to guide our operations at Cross Arrow Ranch, where we strive to preserve the natural beauty and health of our environment for future generations.

Hunting has always been at the heart of our family's activities, from making jerky to crafting Alsatian-style sausage. Our ancestors were skilled craftsmen, transforming their harvests into delicious meals and cherished family recipes. These traditions have been lovingly preserved and continue to be a part of our family's heritage today.

As fifth-generation ranchers and hunters, we are proud to carry on our family's legacy. We are committed to sharing our love for the land and the sport with our guests, providing them with an authentic and memorable experience at Cross Arrow Ranch. Whether you're a seasoned hunter or new to the field, we invite you to join us in celebrating the traditions and values that have been at the core of our family for over 250 years.
